This album is a collection of musicians within the DIY music scene of Manchester. Ranging from dance to jazz, ambient to punk and everything in between. This will be the first of many projects to come from M.

Each chose a selection of artists from their community and all contributed to the choices of tracks. The tracks range from demos to live sets and full mastered studio tracks.

At M we really care about our DIY communities in the city which is why all profits made by this release will be donated to some of our favourite groups in the city, No Borders and 0161 Community. Both work hard to support the communities of Manchester through feeding, teaching, working with and supporting the people of the city. So they deserve this.
